Superior Engineering is a consulting engineering firm that specializes in process/system design for the petroleum, chemical, petrochemical, steel manufacturing and processing, institutional, utilities and pharmaceutical industries. Providing instrumentation, mechanical, civil, structural and electrical engineering, the scope of its work ranges from concept consulting and project management to full design/build capabilities. Located in Hammond, Ind., S/E has provided design engineering and consulting to such major institutions as Amoco Oil Company, Mobil Oil, U.S. Steel, BASF, Purdue University, the United States Department of Defense, General Mills and Ford Motor Company. Founded in 1962, Superior Engineering employs more than 100 engineering, design, drafting and project management professionals.
