If you need your car, van, pick-up, &c. worked on, then ANC Complete Auto Repair is the place in Hammond, Indiana you need to go. Their ASE Certified Mechanics are one the BEST mechanics in the city. They're eaisly located at 6949 Calumet Avenue so they are EASY to find. There's plenty of room for parking (even if they looked packed)! They'll be honest when they tell you how long it's going to be to they're able to look at it, so they're NOT going to string you around just to get your business. They're very friendly, always have a smile and everybody who works there looks like they're having a GREAT time. I've been told that the owner (the boss) is awesome to work for and he has a file of applications of possible "future mechanics" who are waiting for an opening...that's VERY rare when it comes to auto repair. Although the shop could probably use a exterior make-over (the place looks like in came from the 70's), DO NOT let that stop you from stopping in and at least get a quote from them - I think you'll be surprised. Just about every morning when they open, you'll see somebody sweeping the lot and the surrounding sidewalk just like they did "back in the day". I have had my vehicles worked on there twice and I've been completely satisfied with their work.
