General Info

The funeral home presently known as the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home, Inc. was established in 1945 by Erastus Fogelsanger. Donald Demmerley started working for Erastus in 1947 and took over the funeral home in 1948 following Mr. Fogelsanger's death. Donald moved the funeral home to its current location on Pierce Avenue in 1957 and changed the name in 1963. Donald's son, David, joined his father in 1973 and received his funeral director's license in 1978. In 1991, David was named Licensed Manager and became President in 2002 following his father's death. The funeral home celebrated its 65th anniversary in 2013 and is still a family owned and operated business.

We just had the service for my mother at Demmerley last month and I could not be more pleased with the care our family was given

This is my second review which has been downgraded by one star. because Demmerley Funeral Home did not keep their promise to have a guest register available on line by today and this review is being written at 2:45 pm, having been very generous with them as far as time for them to resolve this issue. I will now call them to let them know that I still can't do a guest registry.
