Dr. Rafaela Dejanovic was born in Croatia and raised in Fort Lee, NJ. Her mother, Dr. Ljiljana Frkovic, a dentist herself, was her inspiration for pursuing a career in dentistry. Dr. Dejanovic received a Bachelor of Science from Rutgers University and a master's degree in biomedical science from Rutgers Medical and Dental School (formerly known as UMDNJ).  She graduated from NYU College of Dentistry and spent six years residing in Gramercy Park NYC, where she trained with pioneers in cosmetic dentistry before moving to North Carolina and now South Florida.  She prides herself in relating to her patients and making sure they feel comfortable in the dental chair. Dr. D really enjoys raising people's confidence by perfecting their smiles and "curing" their dental anxieties. She's Invisalign and Six Month Smiles certified and continues her education in cosmetic dentistry, TMJ disorders and occlusion.  Aside from her love for dentistry, she indulges in fashion, food and fitness, and she loves the beach.
