Hallandale Parks and Recreation operates as a community service department of the city of Hallandale Beach, Fla., and offers a wide variety of fun and entertainment activities to its people. It offers a wide range of recreational activities, such as aquatic and belly dancing, cultural art shows, concerts, movie shows, concerts and senior games. In addition, it organizes year round camps, Halloween parties, kids night outs, and birthday and teen pizza parties. Its athletics program includes a wide range of volleyball, basketball, softball and football tournaments, and racquetball leagues. The department provides aerobics classes, swordplay training, swimming lessons and lifeguard classes for the health and development of its residents. Hallandale Parks and Recreation department organizes and sponsors fundraising events that benefits the American Cancer Society and provides educational programs for the youth.
