Oak Park Kennels has been such a wonderful place to take our cat while we are out of town. They are both professional and very caring for all the animals there. We initially used Oak Park right when our cat was diagnosed with diabetes and we had an out of town trip planned and flights that we could not cancel. Oak Park Kennels made sure that our cat was well taken care of and provided us with updates, with pictures of our cat, etc. the entire time we were away. I felt comfortable knowing that my cat was being given his injections properly and it put us at ease the entire time. When we came back to pick him up, he was even healthier and had gained some of his original weight back, which was such a relief to us.

I know they go the extra mile to make sure the animals are as happy as possible. For example, I know at other kennels the cats are usually kept in their cages the entire time. But at Oak Park, they are able to rotate time to let the cats out to roam and enjoy stretching their legs and playing in the dedicated cat room. Additionally, the cages for the cats can have up to three different levels, allowing for the cats to move around and keep themselves entertained while staying there. It is also reassuring that they require up to date vet records and check the animals upon their arrival to make sure they are healthy and ready to board.

I highly recommend Oak Park Kennels. I also know that my next door neighbor uses them for his dog when they are out of town and has said great things about him staying there as well.

We have been taking our pets there for over 30 years. They receive wonderful care. They receive home cooked meals! My dogs don't look over their shoulder when I drop them off. Wonderful place
