Saint Mary School, established in 1874 by the School Sisters of Notre Dame, is one of several schools in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. It is a Catholic educational institution that serves more than 260 students in kindergarten through grade eight. It teaches a variety of subjects, including language arts, literature, English, mathematics and social studies. Saint Mary School also specializes in religion classes that focus on worshipping practices. The school offers art and computer classes. It additionally maintains a library that features over 5,500 books and reference materials. Saint Mary School provides a physical education curriculum that includes sports, parachute activities and several fitness exercises. It employs a staff of a media specialist, librarian, music teacher, classroom assistant, school nurse and educators.

Our children have thrived at St Mary School. I would say the quality of a school starts with the caliber of the leadership and administration.
I think the school community is fantastic and that our children are receiving a very good education.

They give you a feeling of security leaving your children here. The family atmosphere is very welcoming and something that I really treasure about this school.

The teachers have always been very helpful and always seem to be in good spirits as well. The class size has to be the best part of the environment. They are very small so it helps you put your focus on each student.

My son has ADD, so educating him has always been a bit of a challenge. However they have really taught him how to focus his energy ad better himself here at St. Mary's. I am so grateful that we found a school with such great dedication.
