Established in 1970, Potomac Heights Elementary provides various academic and extracurricular programs for students in kindergarten through grade five. The school enrolls more than 300 students every year. Its curriculum includes social studies, mathematics and English. The school maintains a library that offers books and reference materials on various subjects and topics. It also offers morning and after-school day care services for students. The school is a part of Washington County Public Schools, which operates various elementary, middle and high schools, as well as early childhood centers.
