Westmont Fire Company No. 1 has been serving the citizens of Haddon Township and its surrounding communities for over 100 years. The company maintains a fleet of fire engines, tower ladders, utility vehicles and ambulances. It provides fire prevention and rescues and emergency medical services. Westmont Fire Company No. 1 is also involved in fundraising campaigns and organizes fire education and training camps. The company has a membership of more than 75 members and also maintains a team of lady auxiliary officers.
