Los Altos Academy of Engineering was established in 1993 and provides a wide variety of programs in mathematics, science and engineering. The academy offers various elective courses, including pre-engineering and computer science. It also provides various classes in other programs, such as introduction to electrical equipment, and engineering and manufacturing technology. Los Altos Academy of Engineering offers various projects, including infusion hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, solar boat and botball. The academy additionally provides training related to designing and construction in association with Edison, TRW, Hughes and AeroVironments to students. Los Altos Academy of Engineering is located in Hacienda Heights, Calif.
