North Gulfport 7th and 8th Grade serves more than 850 students in grades seven and eight. It has a staff that includes more than 80 classroom teachers. The school provides Internet access with more than four computers in most of its classrooms. It operates a fully automated library and media center. North Gulfport 7th and 8th Grade offers a variety of educational programs, such as after-school tutoring, enrichment courses and online curriculum-based programs. Its academic curriculum includes English, reading, language arts, science, mathematics, foreign languages, art, civics, economics, history and geography. Located in Gulfport, Miss., the school is a part of the Harrison County School District.
