I have read some of the negative reviews and wondering where they ate. I am originally from New Orleans and I know good food. We were greeted very nicely and the service was superior. We ordered steak and shrimp. Both cooked different and correct. I wanted seafood but forget that the steak was off the chain. The fried shrimp were fantastic also.
Will definitely go back again.
Oops forgot about crab salad and baked
potatoes all awesome.
Enjoyed the tv's also.

I have been eating there for years. The staff is always well trained and friendly, which make's the service good. I love going there, the restaurant has a great local decor. This is a must see to believe. Yes this is one of our great restaurants on the coast, a local treat! This is not Del Frisco's if you know where and what that is, but you can't beat the steak and shrimp combo, and the loaded twice baked potato is off the chart. I would recommend the grilled shrimp over the fried, but that is a personal choice. The steaks have a unique flavor. They are cooked over pecan wood and seasoned with Capt. ALS own spices!!!!! I would and have always recommended Capt ALS.

Use to go each time BAD EXPERIENCE! Asked for med steaks got RAW each time. Took pics of the RAW STEAK and sent them to owner she could care less never responded on fb or private message. There was NO MANAGEMENT only young girls working. Seafood part was like rubber, grity like it was boiled in dirty water, and way to spicy.

Great food and great service! Quite a bit of charm in the plsce. Also met the boss lady, and she is as great as a food. Highly recommended!

We asked a local where to get a good steak and he recommended Captain Al's. It is a whole in wall place but they have an amazing ribeye and outstanding service! You must try it!
