Bayou View Middle School provides academic instruction and enrichment programs to students in grades six through eight. The school s academic course includes music, computer science, art, business education, math, social studies, and health and physical education. It employs guidance counselors who work to develop positive interpersonal relationships and provide career advice. Bayou View Middle School encourages students to take part in a range of athletic activities. In addition, the school s library has a collection of books and periodicals that complement the academic curriculum.
