Guernsey-Sunrise Elementary School is affiliated with the Platte County School District 2. Located in Guernsey, Wyo., the school provides a variety of educational and cocurricular programs to students in grades kindergarten through six. It offers a variety of programs, such as English, arts, science, social studies, mathematics and physical education. Guernsey-Sunrise Elementary School also provides special education, speech, band, choir and Spanish. The school additionally offers reading, writing, spelling, computer education, accelerated reader, vocal music, technology education and accelerated mathematics programs. It has a parent-teacher association that focuses on increasing awareness and participation in curriculum and policy development by enhancing communication between home and school.
