Wayne is awful. Gave me the exact opposite haircut which I wanted. It was so bad I had to give myself a buzz cut when I got home. He does not listen to what you want but instead just does what HE wants. I will never be going back to get a haircut at Wayne's.

I love this place. Wanye and everyone in his shop are probably some of the nicest people i have ever met. the first time i went there i heard mixed things about the shop, so i desided to go and find out for myself. everyone was nice, listened to what i wanted and really got to know me. They remembered me! not too many places now a days will remember your face, let alone your name. when i went in a couple weeks later they called me by name, said hi, talked for a bit. Not only are the people friendly and nice, but it's so clean and sleek. there is hardly (if any) hair anywhere in that shop onther than on people's heads, there is always good music on, and the prices are reasonable. I have gone to places and paid twice as much for a half way decent hair cut, everytime i leave i feel like i got my money's worth and then some. And all of this is true at both locations, Groton and Mystic. Thank you for being one of the last places that value their customers. kuto's to you!!

The shame is that there are good barbers at Waynes, he is not one of them. Many of them were probably there when it was called John’s and they will probably be be there when he is gone. The bottom line is this is not a kid friendly or anybody friendly establishment when the owner is in the shop.
