Jim Carney previously worked for a large financial services firm. He grew frustrated as the company dictated the types of investments and financial services he should offer to his clients. Jim thought that his clients deserved better and decided to leave the large firm and branch out on his own. Carney Financial Group was founded by Jim, who realized that establishing an independent firm could provide the tools, resources, and ability to service and to dedicate himself to the needs of his clients rather than to the needs and goals of a large corporation. Jim committed himself to create the type of firm he thought was needed in this day and age of rushed and sometimes impersonal or non-existent service.
