Riverside High School is a college preparatory school that provides academic classes to more than 1,500 students in grades 9 through 12. The school offers educational classes in vocal and instrumental music, agriculture, world languages, social studies, science, physical education, math, language arts and business. Riverside High School has a guidance department that counsels students regarding educational needs and personal problems. It organizes a range of athletic activities, such as cross country, football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, track and field, wrestling, baseball, softball and tennis. The school maintains a staff of more than 90 teachers and over 25 support staff members. It is a part of Greenville County Schools, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. Riverside High School has been operational for more than 35 years and is located in Greer, S.C.
