- The Greenwood Village Police Department provides law enforcement and emergency response services for the Village of Greenwood in Greenwood Village, Colo. The department focuses on reducing crime, fear, and disorder problems by fostering community relationships through collaborative partnerships. It is comprised of nearly 65 sworn officers and 24 civilian employees. Its staff provides services to the community through three service areas: Patrol Services, Detective Services and Support Services. Patrol Services provides crime prevention and safety solutions for the residents and businesses of the village. Detective Services resolves cases by conducting follow-up and initiating criminal investigations. Support Services staff keeps record of police activity, as well as provide information and assistance to the public. Greenwood Village is located in Arapahoe County in northern Colorado and has a population of more than 11,000 residents.
