Robert J. Tiller, M.D. is the Program Director and Designated Institutional Officer (DIO) within the Self Regional Healthcare Family Medicine Residency Program at Montgomery Center for Family Medicine. Dr. Tiller has a bachelors in Chemical Engineering from The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, IN and received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, IN. He completed his residency at Self Memorial Hospital in Greenwood, SC and practiced in rural South Carolina prior to joining the residency faculty. Dr. Tiller is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine with a certificate of added qualification in Hospice and Palliative Care and is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. In his spare time, he enjoys running, mountain biking, watersports, golfing, fishing, snow skiing, Clemson football, Indiana University basketball and spending time outdoors with his wife, Julie, and four kids.
