Pros: Dr. Dodgens seemed to perform a very thorough eye exam and was very professional. Cons: The glasses I ordered from Montague Eye Center (MEC) cost $600 (after insurance discount) and took 2 1/2 weeks to receive. In the meantime I went to Costco to purchase a spare pair. The same glasses would have been $150 had I not used up my discount at MEC (the spares also included transition lenses worth $50 which the glasses from MEC did not include). I had my glasses from Costco in four business days. Within three days my glasses from MEC broke due to a product defect and I was told by MEC they MIGHT be under warranty. I was also told I would have to pay $15 to have replacement frames sent overnight otherwise it would be one week. They charged me 400% more than what the glasses were worth and wouldnt even cover the shipping cost to replace a defective product. Bottom line: Good place for eye exams. Terrible place for eye glasses.
