Founded in 1966, Pillow Academy is a college preparatory school located in Greenwood, Miss. It serves more than 800 students of grades kindergarten through 12 offering academics, athletics and extracurricular activities. The academy s curriculum includes English, science, Spanish, history, mathematics, journalism, computers and Bible studies. Its extracurricular activities include band, chorus, arts and dance. The school provides classes in various sports, including basketball, baseball cheerleading, football, fastpitch, soccer, golf, tennis and track. It also has various clubs for students, such as student council, stock market, lion s leadership, mustang, key, and math and science clubs. Pillow Academy additionally provides nutritional meal programs for students and the menu includes steak fingers, mashed potatoes, French fries, chicken nuggets, macaroni and milk.
