Located in Greenwood, Miss., Greenwood High School is an educational institution that employs a staff of more than 60 teachers and paraprofessionals. It conducts classes in various subjects, such as math, science, social studies, English and French. The school s extracurricular activities include dance, music, choir, band, chess, drama, and arts and crafts. It also offers computer learning and special education programs, as well as publishes a monthly newsletter. Greenwood High School additionally offers several sporting activities that include football, basketball and baseball. The school is a part of Greenwood Public Schools, which owns and operates Bankston Elementary School, Threadgill Elementary School and the Career and Technical Center.
