I visited this Dollar General Store today, Monday, March 23, 2015 and there were signs on clothing and shelves marked 70% off. When the clerk was ask about the prices she immediately began taking the prices off the clothes and stated that they are 50% off at this time. When I went down another isle there were other items marked 70% off as well. I chose items for purchase and took them to the counter and she stated that the sale was off. I asked then why are the sale tags still on the merchandise? She stated that the date the sale went off was on the tag. My response to that was I didn't see that because the print was so minute and it's your fault if you didn't take the tags off; this is false and misleading advertisement to the consuming public. I asked for a manager but there was not one available. She turned to another woman and informed her of the situation and she replied the same thing and went down the isle snatching the price tags off each shelf that had one and there were.
