Founded in 1900, Davis Elementary School offers learning opportunities for students in kindergarten through grade six. It provides classes in social studies, math, physical education, language arts and science. The school also offers special education programs for gifted and talented students. Davis Elementary School has a staff of more than 40 individuals, including teachers, assistant managers, classroom assistants and nurses. In addition, it provides food, transportation and maintenance services. Located in Greenwood, Miss., Davis Elementary School is governed by Greenwood Public Schools, which enrolls students in elementary, middle and high schools. Greenwood Public Schools operates business, personnel and superintendent offices.
