Coleman Eye Center has grown into the leading ophthalmology practice in central Mississippi by following our mission: to improve the vision and protect the eyes of our patients by building compassionate care relationships, utilizing advanced technology, and employing the highest levels of surgical skill.We are a comprehensive eye care provider, able to enhance the vision of our patients through eye surgeries like cataract surgery, and also diagnosing and treating eye diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration. Coleman Eye Center also treats a wide range of conditions that cause irritation and discomfort on the ocular surface such as dry eye syndrome, allergies, and blepharitis. We make glasses every day in our full service optical lab where we perform our own finishing and fitting, usually having patients in their new glasses in an hour or two. We fit all the major brands of contact lenses and have a wide range of sunglasses available.Our doctors perform eye surgeries in our state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center adjacent to our main office, allowing our patients to avoid hospital admission and general anesthesia, and providing the ultimate experience in convenience and rapid recovery.
