General Info

Dr. Savabi attended IUPUI as an undergraduate student. He majored in Engineering, while also completing pre-dental courses & shadowing dentists. He was honored as the Top Male Student of IUPUI in 2007. Dr. Savabi ultimately decided to attend the IU School of Dentistry. He fell in love with all aspects of dentistry- the fine detail in each procedure, the advanced technology of the field, and the patient relationships he could not get in engineering. During his final year of dental school, Dr. Savabi was elected as an Albert Shweitzer Fellow in his efforts to start the IU Dental School Student Outreach Center. The Student Outreach Center is a free dental center where dental students provide care to patients on Saturdays. He continues to volunteer as a faculty mentor at the center.
