General Info
We specialize in one of a kind, custom tattoos. No flash art racks to pick a design from that 5,000 other people chose before you, it's made for you, and only you. We pride ourselves on being able to take an idea and make it come to life, utilizing our extensive library of reference and resource material, creating something truly unique. We are open Monday through Thursday from 1-10 pm, Friday and Saturday from 1-12, Sunday from 1-5. Appointments are available, walk-ins are welcome. We have 1200 square feet featuring an art gallery and state of the art tattoo facilities. Texas Tattoos and Art Gallery is located in the shopping center at the Southern entrance to the Greenville Arts and Entertainment District, 3207 Wesley Street, across from the legendary CB's Hamburgers, one block north of Church's Chicken. Josh and Erica Painter, founders of LaFamilia Artiste, and sole proprietors of Texas Tattoos and Art Gallery, have dedicated their lives to serving the community through art and music. Texas Tattoos and Art Gallery is community oriented and community driven, housing art by local artists, promoting local musicians, and providing a clean, sterile, and comfortable environment for tattoos. Our reception area is made for comfort, we can't always guarantee that we are able to address your needs as soon as you come in, but hope you will enjoy a soft seat, a few magazines, and our laid back environment. Music lessons, recording opportunities, and small venue bookings are also available. The art gallery features several artist from our local community, including the founders and tattoo artists work. All art is available for purchase, with a 3 month reserve policy. LaFamilia Artiste pays the artist and provides them with the necessary medium to produce more incredible art. The artist lounge and tattoo areas are off limits to those who have not been signed in and verified with a valid photo ID that they are 18 years old. This is where the tattoo ideas come to life, from design sketch, to the permanent masterpiece. All artist are certified and operate under strict regulations to keep themselves and the client safe at all times.
