Provided by YP.comI live over an hour from Tim and Tammy's shop but they are my first choice for transmission repair. I've used them for the last 6 or 7 years. From the front drive automatic Honda to F250 automatic rebuilds. Never had any issues with their work. Tim shows the parts he replaces and gives all the information you desire. Tammy is always kind and courteous with timely follow up. Thank you!

Provided by YP.comTo better serve your transmission needs, we purchased Greenville Transmission Clinic, INC. The Tranny Man location on State Park Rd was closed and relocated on 6/1/14. You can still use the same phone number and the same smiling faces plus some will continue to serve your needs! Looking forward to seeing you!

Provided by YP.comI needed 2nd opinion on work another transmission shop had done, told Tim the story and asked him if he would check it our (2008 Silverado). He spent at least 1/half hour driving as well as checking the computer and electronic settings, told me it was operating correctly. He wouldn't take anything for the expert work, but he's my transmission guy in the future and would suggest to anyone else as a great choice.

Provided by YP.comTim, the owner, went the extra mile to repair the transmission in my 1986 Nissan 300ZX. In spite of vendors sending the incorrect part (twice), he made no excuses for the vendor and ensured I was kept informed of the progress at every step; Tammy was the very courteous voice that relayed all the messages back and forth. Once he located the correct part, the repairs were completed in a timely manner and the transmission now works perfectly! Tim also took the time to show me the distress on the original parts; I got some "free" education! I really appreciate the written 2 year / 24K mile warranty that came with the repair; other shops have not been as generous. Thank you Tim and Tammy for a positive experience!

Provided by YP.comLady who answers the phone, I believe Tammy is her name, is rude... If you can't get past that on the phone imagine what the rest of the experience is like
I am sorry if you felt that I was rude, that is certainly not my/our intention ever. You are welcome to call back to address this issue at any time.

Provided by YP.comThe owners offer incredibly friendly and professional service. You will benefit by a job well done utilizing the highest quality parts combined with expert craftmanship. I can attest to this due to the fact that I supply torque converters for a multitude of transmission repair facilitys in a territory convering serveral states.. The Tranny Man Transmission Shop experiences the lowest percentage of "comebacks" in his area. In simple terms, when repair facilitys go above and beyond what is required to meet the original manufactures specifications, you can have confidence in the repair.
