I HAVE BEEN TO III THREE TIMES AND ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO RETURNING. I CANNOT UNDERSTAND THE BAD REVIEW. I FEEL IT COMPARES FAVORABLY TO THE BEST RESTAURANTS IN DOWNTOWN PITTSBURGH AS WELL AS D'IMPERIOS IN MONROEVILLE OR PGH. 15235 WHICH IS A GREAT RESTAURANT.

Have been to One Eleven twice and am actually going for my third time. The first time there I ordered from their fall menu and i got to try their Apricot Chicken as the waiter suggested.... what a great suggestion - was delicious! My second visit there I went when they had their wine dinner sponsored by a vineyard from the Nappa Valley. It was a 5 course meal and it was amazing!! I am going again tomorrow as an out of town client who just moved to the area wants to treat me to dinner and they told me to pick the restaurant... um this is a no brainer.. One Eleven!! Keep up the great work Chef Richard!!

Recently tried for the first time. Enjoyed atmosphere; mussels and lobster roll were perfect. Will be back. In a city with few choices clearly one of the best.

THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE an excellent restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely, the service pretty good. BUT we will NEVER return. The steak I ordered was supposed to be medium. The heel of my shoe would have been better. It was black and certainly NOT a filet. We mentioned it to the server who said she was sorry. Nothing more - no offer to take it back.The mashed potatoes had lumps in them.The green beans were not blanched, rather RAW. We wanted to celebrate a special occasion and had a child. NO childrens menu, nor cutting of any gigantic portions. They clearly did not want children in the restaurant. The salmon was okay - nothing memorable. The desserts were mediocre at best. I would never recommend this restaurant unless you wanted to throw away $200.00.
