I'm bridesmaid in a wedding, first the lady who helped us was not friendly, she allowed other girls to take our dresses, she measured me wrong. So the manager told me she have it taken out for free and delivered to my house. I never saw my dress for a month, every time I called no one would give me a straight answer to where my dress was, then to top it off they never did the alterations. So now I'm stuck with a dress that doesn't fit and two weeks until the wedding. Never go here
I had the MOST AMAZING experience at MB Bride when shopping for my wedding gown. My mom and i went to about 10 different bridal shops/salons in the Pittsburgh area, but felt most comfortable and "taken care of" by MB Bride. Not only did they have my dream Allure wedding gown, but Margie, my consultant, was phenominal! She was there when we needed her and gave us her honest opinion, but she also let us shop thru the racks ourselves (many other shops do not allow this). Even when Margie was not working, we ALWAYS felt taken care of! The manager (cannot recall her name) was also actively involved in my experience. She was there to offer suggestions as well as her honest opinions. We loved MB so much, that we also purchased our bridesmaid dresses and tux's there! Every detail was FLAWLESS! My dress, along with my bridesmaids dresses were in with plenty of time to spare and someone definitely called to let me know that everything was ready to pick up. They also let me know when each of my 11 groomsmen came in to be measured for their tux's, so that i would not worry. I also need to mention my seamstress, Beth. She did an incredible job and customized my dress during the alteration process, so that it fit me like a glove. I cannot imagine how the people that gave poor reviews can even be telling the truth! Everyone at MB Bride went above and beyond to be sure that i was happy and excited for my Big Day! I would recommend them 110%!!!!
I went in for my bridal gown without an appointment and they immediately found me a sales consultant. She brought in dresses that were the type I thought i wanted and a fwe that werent, and even let me browse thru and pick out a few as well. Of course I ended up with the PERFECT dress, which was nothing like I had thought I wanted. I could'nt have been happier with their service. My alterations turned out perfect and the lady made sure we knew the easiest way to piece it together to get it on and how to tie up the back. She was very accomadating and went out of her way to make sure we were happy. I would recommend them to anyone!
I was recently shopping at MB bride, and found a dress that I really liked. I went to look for the tag to see what the designer of the dress was and couldn't find it. I then tried on three or four dresses that I also liked and couldn't find the tags on those either. I thought this was sort of odd, but my wedding planner gave me some insight to this practice. They cut out the designer tags and this basically prevents you from comparison shopping. Also, this is ILLEGAL under the Federal Trade Commission's Textile Act. If they do these shady things when you are just shopping, it begs the question as to if they will do it to you once you've made a purchase.
