- Business History
- Stalls Medical began its quest to establish itself as the State’s premier provider of assistive technology on April 2, 1990. This goal was fueled by a sincere desire to balance corporate integrity, compassion, a high level of skill, and the patience to evaluate various options in an effort to select the right equipment. Our teamwork approach, involving the customer, the family, therapists, the physician, case manager and other referral sources, ensures excellent communication resulting in a successful outcome. The relationships we have established with individuals, agencies, organizations, rehabilitation centers, seating clinics, and others have resulted in significant growth for Stalls Medical. We began with three employees and one location to over 50 employees and locations in Raleigh, Greenville and Greensboro, NC.

My and I were very displeased with Stalls Medical. They were very nice when we were ordering our lift for our van, but when the van came back with the lift installed(weeks after they said it would) our a/c didn't work, brakes were not working properly among other things . The person was very rude , would not return calls and insulted my wife with his rude and unprofessional comments. I would not advice anyone using them. If you do PLEASE do your homework, get everything in writing! Alot of the mobility companies leave alot to be desired but this one took the cake.Does not deserve a star at all but must put one to submit

This company gave us a terrible runaround. He talked us into trying a different brand of wheelchair, guaranteeing that if we weren't, "100% satisfied" he would take it back and order the model we had requested. Despite NUMEROUS attempts to return the defective chair he merely gave us lies and broken promises. Now we are stuck with a defective chair from a dishonest company.

I usually don't report negative things on a company, but I feel compelled to keep others from having difficulties with Stalls that I had. It was another case of "the best price isn't always the best deal". There was bad communication between the salesman and mechanic/installer. Finding one or the other there was difficult. The mechanic worked out of town on Mondays and sometimes Tuesdays, and only until noon on Fridays. I'm not sure when the salesman worked. When I thought the part I needed had been ordered, it had not. The salesman thought the mechanic could make what I needed, he couldn't, and no one bothered to tell me, or go ahead and order my part. What should have taken less than two weeks took more like six, and precious time was wasted. I told the receptionist I would never recommend her company, and I will not.
