Provided by YP.comThis is the absolute WORST experience I have ever had with a company, ever! After lying to me, making me jump through ridiculous hoops, then stealing my money, I will NEVER return!
I dropped off two items for consignment in 2014. They told me that they would inform me when the items had sold. I had not heard from them in a year. I stopped by in April, 2015 - the day before I moved away from Greensboro, and asked if my items had sold, they said no. I called in April, 2016 to ask if they had sold and they told me that the items sold in 2014!!! and that it was too late to get my money for it because so much time had passed. I spoke with the owner, Neil, and he told me to come in to the store (I live in eastern NC) to pick up the check. I made a special (4 hour) trip to Greensboro to pick up my check, I go to the store - there was no check for me, they had no idea what I was talking about. FURIOUS, I return home to eastern NC and email Neil again to explain the situation. For the 3rd time I give him my address so he can mail me the check, after 3 weeks, I still have no check. This process was repeated 4 times!!! Give them my address, they promise to send me a check, they never did. Come to find out, even though I had been giving them my address over and over again, they had been sending the check to my old address in Greensboro. They finally get me the check and they have taken a deduction out of it because of my requesting it 2 years after it sold... even though it was THEIR mistake!!!
I am furious. This is the most incompetent, nefarious, and downright dishonest company I have ever encountered! Save yourself time and money and don't patronize this terrible example of a business!

Provided by YP.comI have been very pleased with everything I've purchased from The Red Collection. Over half my living room is furnished by them. A glass early colonial side table, floral rocker, neoclassical cherry coffee table, various Noritake china, various crystal pieces, etc to name a few. They have a beautiful selection, very helpful and friendly staff, matching sets, and rare and unusual items.

This is an extremely interesting place, and occasionally, you can find something exciting. But,much of what they have on display is pure junk. The staff is very helpful and The Red Collection is certainly worth a visit....just in case you were to find that special treasure.

Provided by YP.comI was looking for a dining room table and chair SET. Nothing is sold as a set at the red collection. Their prices are comparable to brand new furniture; very expensive. I found a used ottoman and purchased, before I left the store I saw another one for $70.00 more dollars. I clearly saw the sign that says NO REFUND OR EXCHANGES, but since I hadn't even left the store and had literally just checked out, AND that more money would be made I assumed they would allow this swap and extra money. Honestly, had the lady nicely said I am so so sorry, but there is NOTHING I can do....I think I would have been alright with it, BUT she YELLED over and over and pointed to the sign and wouldn't even listen to anything I had to say. I found out from a friend she was the owner, and has had the same interaction. I will NEVER enter this store again. Just TWO blocks away is another antique and consignment dealer who is MUCH cheaper and MUCH MUCH nicer, please go there instead! And lastly, the Red Collection is a complete fire hazard! I figure at some point she will get sued for something falling on someone and/or people getting injured if a fire were to break out, cause trust me, there would be no escape.

Provided by YP.comWe went looking for a display case to protect a document and there it was. We also found a dresser and fabulous mirror. We looked further and low and behold there was a beaded purse I used on Valentines Day. Before I checked out I saw a beautiful broach which was ment for me. All of these treasures were very reasonably prices and there was much more there to see. When it was time to get the dresser out the guys who moved it out for us were so helpful with getting it into our truck and tying it down. This was my first of many trips to The Red Collection.

Provided by YP.comLooking for something special or something different? Check this place out.
This store has used goods of all sorts but the beauty of it is - it is not junk.
There are plenty of very nice pieces that may be just what you are looking for. Maybe you want something like your grandmother used to have and you would like to have.... they may have it.
Check them out. If you are like me, you will go back often just to see what they have that is new.

Provided by YP.comTo call it a diamond in the rough is not really accurate. This place is paradise to those of us who love to shop! You never know what they will have in stock as they are always getting in new merchandise. It's easy for me to be in there an hour or two and not even notice how much time has gone by. Great place to take a friend!

An excellent place to consign or find low and mid range antiques, used furniture and accessories at wholesale prices. Friendly staff, and easy access from interstate 40.

A great place to hunt for unusual items! Most prices are very reasonable. They have a high turnover and new items coming in all of the time. Furniture, artwork, lighting, as well as small items. My favorite consignment shop.
