Dr. McFarland and his staff are always very thorough and very friendly. I've been a patient for two years and I went in for my annual eye exam and to be fitted for contacts. I wish I could remember the nurse's name, but she spent a lot of time talking to me about the difference between the types of contacts, the proper way to clean and store them and some of the complications I may/may not experience when I first put them in. She answered all of my questions and even though I've already worn contacts before, she helped me to understand some of the mistakes I made when I previously wore them so that I could have a better experience this time. Dr. McFarland is always nice and a pleasure to work with. He makes me feel comfortable and doesn't laugh at me or make me feel stupid when I ask questions. He addressed all of my concerns and put me at ease by thoroughly explaining the tests he ran before he ran them as well as what to expect when he needed to get close to my eye to test the contac

My eye appointment was quick and simple. Dr. McFarland was thorough with my eye exam and answered all my questions. I got a new pair of glasses and the staff was great in assisting me in picking out just the right pair. I am very happy with Dr. McFarland and his staff and highly recommend them.

Just had my first appointment at McFarland Optometry yesterday. The staff were friendly and helpful. The doctor did not keep me waiting in the exam room. No, really--- I picked up a magazine to start reading and he walked in before I found the first article. Ample parking is available and the office is convenient to Wendover and downtown. I had a very enjoyable experience and would highly recommend them.
