Founded in 1928, Lindley Elementary School is located in Greensboro, N.C. The school provides educational services to more than 300 students in prekindergarten through grade five. It conducts classes in reading, writing, math and science. It offers a range of extracurricular activities that includes art, music and physical education. Lindley Elementary School provides special education to gifted and talented students. The school also offers accelerated reader and English for Speakers of Other Languages programs. Its staff includes a custodian, psychologist, social worker, and speech and language therapist. In addition, it provides food, transportation, guidance counseling and health care. The school also operates a parent-teacher association that conducts fundraising activities and special programs, including holiday parties and science fairs. Lindley Elementary School is a part of Guilford County Schools.
