The Elwood Union Free School District serves students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. The school district includes Elwood-John H. Glenn High School, Elwood Middle School, James H. Boyd Intermediate School and Harley Avenue Primary School. Its schools operate art, mathematics, technology, science, social studies and English departments. The Elwood Union Free School District s schools also offer classes in foreign languages, reading, music, and business and physical education. The district s schools specialize in the English as a Second Language program.
