Bethany Church, established in 1726 and based in Greenland, N.H., offers more than 70 ministries for men, women, youth, children and seniors. These include the adult, caring and children s ministries, worship arts, prayer, student, spiritual development and young adult ministry. More than 1500 people attend Bethany s Sunday morning worship on its 25-acre campus. The church offers a range of community-based outreach programs such as handing out light bulbs in apartment buildings, washing cars in the Wal-Mart parking lot, feeding sandwiches to the homeless and working with local homeless shelters and soup kitchens. It also offers a number of annual outreach events that include passion road, rye-by-the-sea duathlon and summer celebration.
