Wanting to sell some old jewelry to make repairs on my favorite pieces- I went into this store. The buyer looked at my engagement ring (I wanted to repair) and he said the diamond was cracked. The ring needed to be replaced and the stone shipped off to be re-cut/shaved to repair the crack. He told me not to wear the ring because when I hit it next, it will crack into two pieces. I was heart broken- cried all night long. Next day I went to two other stores for more opinions. BOTH said the stone was NOT cracked, just chipped. Nothing wrong at all with the whole ring. Just spin the stone so that the chip is under a prong. They both clearly brought to my attention that Cleary's was trying to rip me off and get my ring into their possession. The woman at the store was clearly working with the buyer on getting me to repair (or steal) my stone and buy a new set of wedding rings. When bringing this matter to other peoples attention- other horror stores about this location came out DO NOT TRUST
