CEO and others who think they care--- Just had a bad experience with some inefficient personnel in your pre-authorization department.. Had surgery on my hand scheduled for today and the doctors office and myself have been working on getting pre-authorization on this surgery. After a multitude of calls by both of us--still no action--all I heard was we have 16 days to authorize. You folks send out letters--brochures--nutritional advice--hearing info--Diabetes info- doctor visits (hope you ended that inefficiency) and continual phone calls on pharmaceutical needs and countless other unneeded calls. Maybe you ought to replace some of your inefficient pre-authorization personnel and hire some additional professional people. This is the area you need to spend your $ and needed policy changes- and help people when Humana is needed the most-- Zero stars for your rating!!! You've got a long way to go!!
