Food was way way way overpriced
The service was nice and the people friendly but we wete quite disappointef with the food. We ordered the combination appetizer; the onion rings and mushrooms had so much batter the veggied were unrecognizable. The fish and fries were run of the mill except for the excessive battet on the cod. We had desert which, thr coconut pie was good, but the carrot cake was not even as good as King Souper's offering. We spent $50 fir two people and wishef we had gone somewhere else. Do not go unless you do not like very good food and like to spend too much. which y

Great old fashioned cafe food. wonderful pies. good atmosphere and food. at must try!
Great pies, great sandwiches, and they'll even make me things that used to be on the menu but have been taken off when I ask for them. It has character and isn't just another chain restaurant.
Great food, large portions for the money. Great service. Great atmosphere.
