Joel Halpern, the shop proprietor, is a master builder for roller and ice skates. I've been going to this skate shop for over 25 years when Jessie, Joel's father was running the shop. Anytime I went there, I got the benefit of a true expert in the repair & assembly of skates. I was never persuaded to purchase something that I did not want and or need. I've been skating for over 32 years and have owned high end skates for most of that time. I know the skates that I want when I'm in the market for them and I would not trust anyone with my skates other than this shop. Joel, Jessie's son has taken over the shop for many years now and I cannot tell the difference in quality of service. Joel like his dad is a true professional who is very concerned with quality and making his customers happy. His attention to detail is simply amazing & I recommend him to any and all skaters who ask me to recommend a skate shop.
