General Info

I am a professional somatic practitioner and educator with 35 years of teaching experience and over a decade of working with private clients including infants to elders and novice movers to highly skilled athletes and artists. People seek my help for a variety of reasons: general fitness and wellness; recovery from injury or surgery; strength, balance and mobility, and the capacity for restoration and relaxation. New parents ask for guidance to better understand their infants world while professionals might want to develop their skills of working with clients or students, presenting their work at conferences, and organizing their business structures. I offer a perspective on whole-body connectivity and wellness that arises from cellular awareness and embodiment practices. I support and facilitate the unique movement patterns of each individual. This allows for very specific attention as well as a more inclusive integration. I am fascinated by the intelligence of the human body and its capacity to change, re-pattern, and learn. I use creativity and reflection as a primary tool in preparing for each session or class. Between meetings I will review your experience and develop ideas to move forward. This includes educational research and networking.
