My brake lines got put on wrong, and my brakes failed! When I had the car inspected by my regular, non-Tire Factory mechanic, he showed me the problem: one of the brake lines was not properly secured and had full loop in it (BIG NO-NO), It was rubbing against a nearby bolt on my undercarriage because the clip to hold it in place was not used at all. The brake line was already worn through the housing - after only 37 days on the car! After inspecting the car, Dean argued with me that the line was installed fine and my master cylinder was to blame. He refused to acknowledge the testing of my brake system which showed that line as the source of the failure, and contradicted my service manual for the car, calling it, "just a reference". He also said, "Well your mechanic must just be smarter than mine because I've been doing this for 30 years and every car out there has this loop and they're all fine." Don't let this guy's ego jeopardize your safety! Take your brake jobs elsewhere!
