This is a wonderful small store that seems like a trip back in time. There's a small selection of shoes, but very nice ones, socks and other foot-related gear. The people that run it are very helpful. And they repair shoes. So many cheap shoes aren't worth repairing, but the ones they sell are.

So I went here to buy some boots because my boyfriend just bought a pair from Eagle Shoe. When I bought them the lady told me that I couldn't return them if I wore them outside. I told my boyfriend what she said and he said he was told he could return them even if he wore them outside for work even if he got paint on them ( he's a painter).



So I walked around the block for about fifteen minutes to see if they were comfortable ( it can be hard to tell in the store). I decided I didn't like them so I tried to return them. I was told that I couldn't return them because I wore them outside and they only offer store credit returns.

Who only offers store credit anymore? Especially a small store like Eagle Shoe with limited inventory? Come on!



These small stores wonder why they can't compete with Amazon and it's because of stuff like this!



So now I'm down $110 with a pair of boots I can't wear because they aren't comfortable. I definitely won't be shopping here again.
