DESIGN+PLANNING offers several levels of service to owners or project principals. Christopher Blair is the principal and is a Massachusetts Licensed Construction Supervisor. I provide pre-design and design services for new construction, alterations, additions, and renovation in the residential market. A design collaboration to achieve an excellent outcome for the client is one of my focuses. My deliverables are plans that are suitable for filing with the building department, obtaining estimates from contractors, and for construction of your project. The path to a finished project is complicated by the number and variety of participants. Close communication between the Client and the Designer and the Builder will result in the best project outcome. We try to have a little fun on the way too. Energy conservation and sustainability are buzz words today. Thoughtful review of the project elements, consideration of the budget and response to how you live in the spaces help generate the finished project. I use appropriate professional consultants to assist us on projects as they are required. Serving the tri-state market of Massachusetts, New York, and Connecticut since 1986.
