Hickory Tavern Elementary School is a Title I school that educates students in kindergarten through grade five. Its academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as math, art, music, science, social studies and physical education. The school also offers reading recovery and professional development programs. Its media center stocks a variety of reading and reference materials and electronic resources. In addition, the school provides academic counseling and classroom guidance to students. It provides a range of supplies to students, which includes glue sticks, color pencils, pocket folders, markers, scissors, spiral notebooks, highlighters and sharpeners. Hickory Tavern Elementary School is a part of Laurens County School District 55 and is located in Gray Court, S.C.
