I ordered many cakes from Opulent cakes for the last 5 years. I love the cake, but their customer service is below bad. I always came back because of the flavor.. but not anymore. I April I ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday - not cheap. I also asked them to make a smaller cake (i paid for) in chocolate - her favorite flavor - following the big cake decoration - to bring to the art studio where we would have the first part of the party - the big one was for home. They delivered a chocolate plain cake (yes, brown!) - my husband picked up and did not check. I called many times... they never answered my call or call me back - no attempt to make it right for the customer! My daughter was crying.. i was devasted. And they really did not care at all! Never heard back from them. They are rude when talking to customer and always seems that they are doing a huge favor selling you a cake. I do not recommmend.

I absolutely love their cake! I order every year for my daughters birthday party,... despite the fact it is expensive. However, their service is bad, bad, bad.... the staff is poorly trainned and they are really bad at calling back their customers. They should invest more on customer service for sure if they want to be more successfull.

I got a cake for a retirement party last weekend. I went on their website and selected a chocolate cake with dipped strawberries along three sides of the cake. The only problem I had with it, is that the strawberries fell off the sides when I transported the cake to the event. Otherwise, like the other reviewers said, the cakes were very moist and it was pretty to look at before the strawberries fell off. I will go back for more cakes, but next time, I'll probably select a cake that doesn't have anything that can distort on the road.

I had the Tiffany box cake at a friend's party and then just had to order one for my husband's birthday. We tried the black hat box with the chocolate covered strawberries- - yum! The cakes look like something you would see in a magazine, and are so moist and light. I would definitely recommend them!

Beautifully decorated cakes for any occasion. We got some cupcakes too and everyone at our office just loved them. The two cakes and cupcakes we got were moist and delicious. Try one of their speciality flavors. They make my mouth water. Yummy goodness!
