on oct 28, 2007 my FIL took a deer carcass to cartwrights for cold storage. on nov 3, he went to retrieve it and was told it was lost and to call them back on monday. he called back monday nov 5, 2207 and they told him they were still trying to find it, and basically treated the whole thing like it was a big joke. the deer was in their care and it didn't just walk out on its own, they are responsible and its up to them to settle this to his satisfaction. as of this date 11/07/07 nothing has been done and no apology or settlement has been offered. i would suggest to anyone to think twice before going to this establishment and buying their meat products!! this reflects poorly on cartwrights and its shameful that they feel they have to steal a 53 lb deer carcass from one hunter and not pay for it!! to any hunter, think twice before using their cold storage, this could happen to you as well.
