South Elementary is an educational institution that enrolls students in grades five and six. It provides range of extracurricular and academic programs for students. The school enrolls more than 400 students. It offers classes in social studies, math, art and music. South Elementary also provides instruction in science, language arts and physical education. It maintains an accelerated reader club and student council, as well as a parent-teacher council that organizes family nights, field trips, community-involvement activities, and music and dance performances. South Elementary is located in Grandville, Mich., and is a part of Grandville Public Schools, which governs elementary, middle and high schools.
