I called on Monday because I had a leak underground where the sprinkler connects to the main line. The person I spoke to knew everything that needed to be done and knew how extensive the job would be, she made the appointment for that Wednesday. I took most of the day off work so they could fix it and when the guy came out all he did was winterize the pipes that were already suppose to be winterized. He then all but accused me and my husband for putting water in the lines when we haven't touched the sprinkler since moving in 2 years ago. We don't even know the first thing about running the sprinkler.
He then told me that he did not have time to dig that day because he had another job that he had to get to....I replied, I'm your job right now and you did not finish the job. He told me that he could come back the next day and dig but if he finds that it has nothing to do with the sprinkler he's not touching it. He then called me about 10 minutes till 5 that evening and said he recommended I call a leak detection company to make sure that was where the leak was at.
This representative was very unprofessional while he was here using profanity left and right, he even said the f word several times.
The first lady I spoke to in the office was pleasant to deal with but when I called today I spoke with the supposed office manager according to the better business bureau and she was so extremely rude.
So to wrap this up, I am not having them fix the leak, Roto Rooter came out and fixed our problem and I had them disconnect the lines so I never have to deal with the sprinkler or this company again.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM!
I had been with Summit Lawn and Landscape for going on 3 years. I have never really paid attention to my lawn, but this year I have decieded to spend the money to ensure that I have a great looking lawn next season.
I called them and asked if I could have a sales rep come out and go over a action plan to detail what I needed to have done this year to have my lawn look better moving forward.
Garrett, one of their managers, basically said no. He had been out to my lawn a few weeks ago and didnt have an interest in meeting me so we could put a plan together of how I could spend MORE money with the company.
I called and left a message with the owner and basically for the same answer. He compained about not making any money on my treatments. DUH,thats what were talking about make additional money. All I asked is that I have a consultant come out so I could show them my issue spots and get the plan going. After him complaining out his low profit magins I basically said no as well. Keep in mind in 3 years I have faithfully paid my bills on time, only had them back out a few times. So I was an easy custome to get along with.
After arguing about it for 10-15 minutes be told me to F*CK Off and hung up. Very professional. A customer asking tospend more money with his company being told that. Im sure I wasnt the most pleasant person while we were bicering back and fourth, but still.......My lawn looks the worst is has in 6 years of living here. I guess you get what you pay for and shouldnt go with the low cost provider.
