The Fire Department is responsible for protecting the properties of more than 390 residents and several businesses. The department employs over 25 staff members. In addition, it responds to a variety of emergency situations and offers medical services 24 hours a day. The department provides firefighting and paramedic solutions. The Fire Department also coordinates with other agencies and departments. It is a part of the government of the Village of Grand River in Ohio, which operates a police department that offers a range of law enforcement services. The village has a service department that provides waste collection, handling and treatment solutions.
